Planning

To even start any of my production work I really wanted to have an idea of what I wanted to do in each section. As you scroll down you get to see most of the planning that was involved when it came to putting this whole project together. Some of the things that you would get to see are floor plans, sketches of art work and even sketches on how I am planning to curate the stuff that is going to be there. As well as that I am including any emails that were involved to book rooms and getting any equipment and even having sketches for advertising materials which will be created when the art work made as it is something I want to include in the advertisements.

The first thing I had to do was get a room booked for my exhibition. The room I chose is room 305 at the Global Academy. As it is spacious and I gives me a nice space to work with when it comes to curating my exhibition. One problem that came up when I was trying to book the room was that I did not have access to book a classroom, on the booking website that we can book rooms and equipment from, however, I asked my Media teacher to do it for me as I knew it was something he could do by a booking system he has. Below are some images of the room and even me asking Andy (my media teacher) to book the room for me.

After making sure that I have the room secured a room I started to make a floor plan of what flow I wanted to give my exhibition and get to see what it would look like to see a bird’s eye view. I definitely want to give my exhibition an order to what people see and even a sense of direction.

After having this done this, I started to produce some art sketches, so I could have an image of what I want as a final piece of work that can be curated. Here are some of the sketches that I produced.
